By becoming a volunteer, fundraising for us, making a donation, or leaving a gift in your Will, you can help to:
- Sustain Our Lifeline Services: Directly support our confidential Helpline, Text, and Email Support Services, making sure help is available when people need it most.
- Drive Awareness & Understanding: Support the development and delivery of crucial awareness campaigns, training, and resources that challenge stigma and foster a more compassionate society.
- Advocate for Better Futures: Support us to improve mental health services and ensure the voices of those affected by self-harm are heard at a national level.

Our Impact
Across the UK, our helpline and text services are lifelines for people affected by self-harm. And in the South West our peer support groups and training programmes create safe, compassionate spaces. Time and again, people tell us we’re the first place they’ve felt truly heard.
With mental health services stretched, long waiting lists, and growing social and economic pressures, the demand for our support has never been higher. Here’s a snapshot of the difference our services are making – helping people access support, find community, and break the stigma around self-harm.
