4 Session Online Self-Harm Support Group for Parents & Carers of Young People that Self-Harm
When: 10th September, 24th September, 8th October and 22nd October 2026
Time: 6pm – 7:30pm
Location: Online
Supporting a young person who self‑harms can feel overwhelming, confusing, and isolating.
This online support group offers a safe, confidential, and space to improve understanding, receive guidance and explore resources.
We know that wait times for referral to services often take time. This support group will equip parents and carers with the self-confidence to support their child during this time and to promote a caring environment that reduces stress and promotes health and well-being.

To develop an understanding of self-harm and helpful responses. By the end of the course, participants will have had opportunities to:
These groups will be facilitated by Jez Spencer who qualified as a Mental Health Support Worker in 1987 and provides mental health training across the UK and Ireland.
